What is EnviroCair-A?
A broad spectrum 21st century biocidal disinfectant and antimicrobial agent.
What is the Active Ingredient?
EnviroCair-A is a single quaternary ammonium compound (QAC) using Didecyl Dimethyl Ammonium Chloride as the sole active.
How is it applied?
EnviroCair-A is a surface disinfectant—but there are various ways of applying it to surfaces. These include:
Trigger spray
Hand trigger spray and wipe down with cloth for hard surfaces
Air diffuser
Wall mounted air diffuser which disseminates the product around a room leaving a fine film coating all surfaces
ULV fogging machine
Sprays fine droplet/ mist into the air, cleaning all surfaces but not suitable where electrical equipment is located
Mop & bucket
Traditional method of disinfection for floors and worktops
Where can it be used?
All areas that require a high standard of disinfection, including wards, ICU’s, operating theatres, corridors, offices and kitchens.
Where has it been tested?
St. Mary’s Hospital, London; Queen Mary’s Medical School, London; Glasgow University; Hope Hospital, Manchester; Lonza AG, Basel; various institutions in Hamburg, Frankfurt and other EU countries.
What does it kill?
EnviroCair is broad spectrum and effective against 99.9% of pathogens.
Specifically tested against C. diff (spores), H5N1 and H3N8 Influenza virus, MRSA, P. aeruginosa, S. aureus, E. coli and E. hirae, Salmonella typhimunium, A. niger and C. albicans, ECBO virus, Polio & Adeno virus, Noro virus, Vaccinia virus, Polyoma virus SV 40.

How does it work?
EnviroCair uses a disinfectant action and promotes cell membrane destabilization of viruses, bacteria and fungi .

What training is required?
No special training is required to apply the product.
Is it hazardous?
Once the product has been diluted for use, there are no associated Risk or Safety Phrases.
Is it safe to use?
Following manufacturers guidelines for use, the product is safe to use. When using a fogging machine, normal safety measures should be adopted, such as wearing of eye goggles and face mask.
